Dr M Chandrasekhar International Foundation has been working in India for 30 years, focusing on alleviating poverty and social exclusion. Your support will go a long way in helping us in our efforts. Donate now to support women and girls get access to quality education, maternal and child health care services, sustainable livelihood opportunities, and relief and rehabilitation during disasters and support for disaster preparedness.
We provide our patients with medical consultation at Rs.50 and 1-week supply of medications for free. We also provide subsidized spectacles. Cataract and pterygium surgeries are also provided for free, in collaboration with Rotary Eye Hospitals, with patients only bearing the travelling expenses.

Till date, we have treated over 6.4 million patients at our healthcare centers and our mission is to improve the lives of many more.

We have been one of the pioneers in organizing mobility camps having earlier worked in the Himalayan mountainous regions of Leh, Kargil, Srinagar, and Dharamsala, in the strategically located border areas of Rajouri and Poonch over and above the major camps in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and many more places across India and developing nations abroad. We have also set up permanent centres to aid the disabled in Mumbai.

These mobility camps provide various aids to support their mobility/audio receptivity. Children/youth affected by polio will be given calipers to support their limbs. Amputees will be benefitted with Jaipur foot prosthetics. Tricycles, wheelchairs and crutches will also be distributed on a need based assessment. People with hearing impairment will be given hearing aids in order to improve their audio receptivity.

We have a fleet of custom-built Mobile Orthopaedic Hospital Vans as well as a special van for those with a hearing loss. These are fully equipped and manned by teams of trained and experienced personnel who fabricate prosthetics within a matter of hours so that a patient who enters the camp with the support from a family member in the morning, walks out independently by early evening.

Given that today’s students will be tomorrow’s citizens, leaders, workers, and parents, a good education is an investment with enduring benefits. But providing education is not enough. What is important, and what generates a real return on investment, which is learning and acquiring skills. This is what truly builds human capital. Dr M Chandrasekhar International Foundation delivers through well planned and comprehensive projects in Remedial education, Skill Development & Livelihood, Health & Nutrition and Sanitation.
